Join a Committee Today!

Our organization strives to bring you an exhilarating and educational experience with programs and special events. We achieve these with the help of our committees. Once you join, members can volunteer to serve on a committee of their choosing. You can even start you own if there's a project you'd like to work. Here's a snapshot of our committees:

The Activities Committee is responsible for the logistics, developing, and hosting of the society's multiple public events. Social gatherings, Tartan Day, workshops, and outdoor events are the central part of the committee, but are always looking for new ideas! We welcome your suggestions on new events, projects, and other works to promote Scottish culture.

The Burns Dinner Committee is responsible for planning, organizing, networking, and procuring everything needed to hold this special occasion. Putting on a successful and unforgettable Burns Night can be done through the hard work of our membership and officers. If you'd like to assist with the Burns Dinner, send us a message on our Contact page or email us at

The Scholarship Committee is currently constructing a plan for implementing the organization's first scholarship fund. Since early 2019, committee members have submitted proposals to the Board of Directors and are seeking more volunteers to help with the educational, legal, marketing, and fundraising components of the scholarship. Contact the Communications Director, Thomas Richardson, ( more information on how to get involved.

If you think there's a committee we should have or want to start your own, tell us and join us at our monthly board meetings on the 1st Tuesday at C.J. Mugg's Restaurant and Pub in Clayton, Missouri.

We live and breath by our membership! Make a difference and join a committee today!
