Highland Dancing

There's nothing quite like Scottish dancing! The vibrant colors, rhythms, and grace of every dancer is astounding. We're fortunate to have two incredible dance groups right here in St. Louis; Dance Caledonia and Highland Mist. You can watch their performances at many of our events throughout the year. If you'd like to know more or even learn how to dance yourself, click on their names to visit their respective websites.

Dance Caledonia

Dance Caledonia is a premier group of performers who practice authentic Scottish traditional Highland dancing. They are a staple of the Scottish community in St. Louis and can always be found at our big public events! Sandra Brown, a Lifetime Member of the society, is a native born Scot teaching traditional sets and calls for dancers. Their performances have garnered regional and national recognition and are always looking for more people interested in dancing! For information about instruction or performances, be sure to visit their Facebook page!
